Lush gifts

Lush Bath Bombs

Lush Butterbomb

Lush Bodybar

Lush Bathbomb

Lush Massage bar

My girlfriends treated me to a lovely lunch last week. A "New Mummy Lunch" is what they titled it, very cute.

They treated me to lots of pampering gifts to spoil myself with in the last few weeks before baby j arrives. I got loads of goodies from Lush. So far i have only tried two of the bath bombs

This was awesome and smelt lovely. It is made with coco butter and a wonderful vanilla scent. It leaves your skin super moisturised. I din't have to apply anything to my skin after the bath so was great for a late night pamper in the bath and then straight to bed.

This one also smelt yummy. I couldn't quite put my finger on what the fragrance reminded me of I just know it took me back to something from my childhood. Nostalgic sweets or something, guess I'll need a few more to figure out what the scent was ;)

This turned the bath water a lovely shade of pink with little pink and purple love heart confetti. I lay back surrounded by the smell, a Mars bar ice cream and let me day drift away. It does leave the bath with a purple/pink rim so I would recommend using this the day of, or the day before, you are due to give the bath a clean.

Lush has just opened a store in my local shopping centre in Livingston, West Lothian and I can't wait to try everything ! Let me know your recommendations.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skincare range

What they say :

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This daily-use facial wash for blemished skin gives clearer-looking skin when used as part of a regular regime.
  • Removes excess oil without over-drying skin
  • Helps remove impurities
  • Clinically proven to give clearer-looking skin

What i say:

I love this range. I think I have tried them all except the facial scrub. The deep cleansing mask is a pampering bath time favourite.

The products and small and feel amazing on the skin. They leave my skin feeling deeply cleansed without that horrible sting I experience with some other brands. I always tend to go back to this range whenever i am having a bad breakout spell and i can see a difference in my skin every morning when I get up after cleansing with it the night before. I think I would die without the the night lotion.

The products are a little more expensive than other drug store face wash products but hey if they work i'm not complaining ;). Best to look out for the sets they out them inn occasionally, i bagged all three for £10.

I've also found the below codes for Body Shop online if you would like to try. If you do try them please let me know what you thought :)

New Look Maternity Haul

I'm now 30 weeks pregnant and so far I have been able to get away with baggy dresses and leggings. I had only really invested in one pair of maternity leggings and two nursing camisoles from Asda's Maternity Range . However I've found the endless cycle of 5 dresses and rush to have them in and out the wash a bit of a pain lately so i decided to have a maternity shopping trip. I also felt i needed a good pair of maternity jeans with the cold weather coming in.

I looked around on the Internet at various maternity ranges but I found New Look's Maternity range was the best for style, price, comfort and fit. Here is what I purchased :)

New Look Maternity Wear

Maternity Black Red Dot Ribbon Bow Tie Dress£22.99I aactually got this one in black but can't find it online
Maternity Magenta Ruched Side Top £14.99
My favourite out the bunch was this jumper it is so comfy and cosy i might get it in a few other colours and probably still wear it well after little lady has arrived :)
Now just to find some perfect winter boots. Any suggestions ?
